2Cr13A is one representative steel of the martensitic stainless steel. After annealing the steel will has good toughness and easy to be processed. The steel will also has high strength, high hardness, with certain corrosion and high wear-resistant characteristics after quenching. In order to meet the needs of the steel casting, based on the theoretical research and actual production process, the steel-making plant developed targeted measures to improve the surface quality and casting properties of 2Cr13A.
By taking appropriate temperature system, optimizing process parameters and other measures, the steel-making plant solved the problems of surface longitudinal depression and longitudinal cracks of 2Cr13A stainless steel billets and improved the continuous casting heats.
